From the ancient Huangdi Neijing to today's global phenomenon, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is no longer just a medical science—it's a way of life taking the world by storm. The 2026 International Exploration of Traditional Chinese Medicine Program is looking for curious minds like you!

This is not just another study tour—it's a deep "cultural immersion experiment":

Attend lectures to decode the philosophy of Eastern life;

Get hands-on experience, letting herbs dance in your palms;

Go on observation visits to explore the world of TCM in Beijing.

Together with peers from around the globe, listen to the whispers of nature in classrooms filled with herbal fragrance, and wander through Beijing's hutongs to uncover the wellness codes hidden in this ancient

When the program ends, you'll take away more than just an official BUCM Certificate of Completion—you'll gain a fresh perspective on China and the world.

招生对象：

年龄在18至65周岁之间，对中国文化、中医药学或补充替代医学感兴趣的学生、教师或相关从业人员。

Target Participants:

 Ages 13–65; students, teachers or professional in related fields with an interest in Chinese culture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, or complementary and alternative medicine.

 

项目主要内容：

包括中国语言与文化、中国医学史、中医学基础理论与外治法应用等专题课程；八段锦、中医药博物馆参观及中医疗法体验等文化工作坊；医院、药企、鲜药基地的行业考察；北京主要历史地标的文化参访；以及与我校学生的交流座谈等。

Program Content:

The program includes themed courses on Chinese language and culture, the history of Chinese medicine, basic TCM theory, and applications of external therapies. Cultural workshops feature Baduanjin (Eight-Section Brocade) practice, visits to TCM museums, and hands-on experiences with TCM therapies. Participants will also take part in industry visits to hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, and fresh-herb cultivation bases; cultural visits to major historical landmarks in Beijing; and exchange activities with students from our university.

 

项目费用说明：

14天项目费用为8000元/人。项目费用包含学费、日程内安排的考察、参观费用、市内交通费、校园卡制卡费等。

国际旅费、签证费、项目期间餐费、在华期间住宿费及其他个人消费由参与人自理。项目会下发临时校园卡，学员可自行充值用于校内用餐。住宿方面项目组可以为团组学员提供三个选择：

校内单人宿舍，价格80元/人/晚；（数量有限，先到先得）

校内双人宿舍，价格40元/人/晚；

学校临近酒店，价格约250元/人/晚，房间为酒店标准间。

Program Fee:

The 14-day program fee is RMB 8000 per person. The program fee covers tuition, study visits and site visits arranged in the itinerary, local transportation within the city, and campus card issuance fees, among others.

International airfare, visa fees, insurance fee during the stay in China, meals during the program, accommodation in China, and other personal expenses are to be covered by participants themselves. Temporary campus cards will be issued for the program, participants may top up the cards independently for on-campus dining. We offer three accommodation options for participants:

On-campus single dormitory: 80 RMB/person/night(limited, first come first serve)

On-campus twin dormitory: 40 RMB/person/night

 

Nearby hotel standard room: approximately 250 RMB/person/night
