植根于数千年的发展历史和临床实践，中医学是一个融合了哲学、文化和疗愈智慧的整体医学体系。由北京中医药大学主办的国际中医药进阶专业研修项目，是为国际医疗从业者、医药行业工作者和医疗保健专业人士量身打造的短期项目，旨在让他们在中国探索中医的理论基础和当代应用。

Rooted in thousands of years of history and continuous clinical practice, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) represents a holistic medical system integrating philosophy, culture, and healing wisdom. The International Advanced Traning Program in Traditioanl Chinese Medicine, hosted by Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (BUCM), is a professionally designed short-term program for international medical practitioners, educators, and healthcare professionals seeking to explore the theoretical foundations and contemporary applications of TCM in China.

项目包含学术讲座、临床见习、实践培训和文化参访。参与者将系统地接触核心中医理论、诊断原则及其在疾病预防和治疗中的应用，同时在北京中医药大学附属医院参与结构化轮转观察临床见习。通过包括手诊模拟和病例解读指导在内的实践工作坊进一步强化体验式学习，加深参与者对诊断推理和治疗逻辑的理解。文化参访内容包括参观北京的主要历史地标和博物馆，以及对制药企业和研究机构的行业参访，以凸显中医的本土化现代发展。

The program combines academic lectures, clinical observation, hands-on training, and cultural exploration. Participants will gain systematic exposure to core TCM theories, diagnostic principles, and their relevance in disease prevention and treatment, while observing clinical practice through structured rotations at BUCM-affiliated teaching hospitals. Experiential learning is further strengthened through practical workshops, including hand diagnosis simulation, and guided case interpretation, deepening participants’ understanding of diagnostic reasoning and therapeutic logic. Cultural immersion activities include visits to major historical landmarks and museums in Beijing, as well as industry visits to pharmaceutical enterprises and research facilities, highlighting the modernization and global development of TCM.

通过讲座、医院见习、实地考察以及与北京中医药大学师生的交流讨论，参与者将就中医药的未来发展、传统与现代医疗的整合以及国际合作展开对话。顺利完成课程后，学员将获得由北京中医药大学颁发的结业证书。

Through lectures, hospital practice, site visits, and discussions with BUCM faculty and students, participants will engage in dialogue on the future of TCM, integrative healthcare, and international collaboration. Upon successful completion, a Certificate of Completion issued by BUCM will be awarded.

 

招生对象：

境外高等院校或机构的中医或医药相关专业在读本科及以上层次学生及教师、青年科研人员等外国籍学生学者、国际医疗从业者、医药行业工作者和医疗保健专业人士；年龄14-65周岁。若团组中有未成年学生，必须配有同行监护人，同行监护人与未成年学生比例为1:10。如未成年学生不足5人，也应有1位同行成年人担任同行监护人。在取得未成年学生合法监护人监护授权的情况下，同行监护人由来华团组带队教师担任。项目全年皆可参与，项目日程可根据团组需求在11天（含接送机）-14天范围内调整。

Eligibility：

Currently enrolled undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral students from foreign higher education institutions or organizations majored in Traditional Chinese Medicine or medicine-related programs, foreign scholars including teachers, young researchers, international medical practitioners, professionals working in the pharmaceutical and medical industries, and healthcare professionals. Age:14 - 65 years old. In the group, if there are underage students（below 18 years old）, accompanying guardians must be assigned. The ratio of accompanying guardians to underage students should be 1:10. If there are fewer than 5 underage students, at least 1 accompanying adult must serve as the guardian. With the legal guardian’s authorization, the accompanying guardian role may be assigned to the group’s lead teacher.,The program is available throughout the year, with a duration ranging from 11days (including arrival and departure) to 14 days.

Program Content (adjustable according to participants’ educational backgrounds):

The program combines academic lectures, clinical observation, hands-on training, and cultural exploration. 开办时间：项目采取贯穿全年的形式开展。项目时长11天-14天（含抵离）。

Schedule: The program is available throughout the year, with a duration ranging from 11days to 14days (including arrival and departure).

 

授课方式：英语授课或中文授课。

Instruction Language: Courses are delivered in English or Chinese.

 

申请时间：项目日期开展前的3个月。

Application Period: Applications must be submitted 3 months prior to the project commencement date

 

项目费用说明：

14天项目费用为15000元/人，具体费用可能因项目长短变动。项目费用包含学费、临床见习费、在华期间保险、日程内安排的考察、参观费用、市内交通费、校园卡制卡费等。国际旅费、签证费、项目期间餐费、在华期间住宿费及其他个人消费由参与人自理。项目会下发临时校园卡，学员可自行充值用于校内用餐。住宿方面项目组可以为团组学员预定学校临近酒店，价格约250元/人/晚，房间为酒店标准间。

Program Fee:

The 14-day program fee is RMB 15,000 per person. The exact fee may vary depending on the final length of the program. The program fee covers tuition, clinical observation fees, insurance during the stay in China, study visits and site visits arranged in the itinerary, local transportation within the city, and campus card issuance fees, among others.

International airfare, visa fees, meals during the program, accommodation in China, and other personal expenses are to be covered by participants themselves. Temporary campus cards will be issued for the program,participants may top up the cards independently for on-campus dining. Regarding accommodation, the program team can assist in reserving hotels near the university for group participants. The estimated cost is approximately RMB 250 per person per night, based on standard hotel twin rooms.
