一、申请资格/ Application Requirements

1.非中国籍公民，持有效外国护照并符合《教育部关于规范我高等学校接受国际学生有关工作的通知》（教外函〔2020〕12号文件）的相关要求：

依据《中华人民共和国国籍法》第五条，父母双方或一方为中国公民并定居在外国，本人出生时即具有外国国籍，不具有中国国籍。其作为国际学生申请人，进入我高等学校本专科阶段学习，除符合学校的其他报名资格外，还须于2021年4月30日之前持有有效的外国护照或国籍证明文件，且于2021年4月30日至2025年4月30日之间有在外国实际居住2年以上的记录（一年中实际在外国居住满9个月可按一年计算，以入境和出境签章为准）。

Eligibility

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens holding a valid foreign passport and complying with the requirements outlined in the circular of the Ministry of Education on Regulating the Work of Chinese Higher Education Institutions in Accepting International Students (Document No. 12, 2020):

As stipulated by Article 5 of the Nationality Law of the People’s Republic of China,applicants do not have Chinese nationality if they are born to one or both parents who are Chinese citizens residing abroad and possess foreign nationality at birth. As international students applying for undergraduate education, they must hold a valid foreign passport or a proof of nationality before April 30, 2021, in addition to meeting the school’s other entry requirements. Applicants must also have a verifiable record of residing overseas for more than two years between April 30, 2021, and April 30, 2025 (with at least nine months of residence per year, verified by entry and exit stamps).

2.中国大陆（内地）、香港特别行政区、澳门特别行政区和台湾地区居民在移民并获得外国国籍后，其申请作为国际学生进入我校本科阶段学习，除符合学校的其他报名资格外，在向我校提出申请时不再拥有中国大陆（内地）、香港特别行政区、澳门特别行政区和台湾地区居民等身份，还应持有有效的外国护照或国籍证明文件4年（含）以上（截至2025年4月30日），且于2021年4月30日至2025年4月30日之间有在外国实际居住2年以上的记录（一年中实际在外国居住满9个月可按一年计算，以入境和出境签章为准）。

Former Residents

Residents of the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Macao Special Administrative Region, and Taiwan who have immigrated and acquired foreign citizenship and seek admission as international undergraduate students at our university, must have renounced their previous residency status in the mentioned regions and meet all other admission criteria. They are required to have held a valid foreign passport or nationality certificate for at least four years (as of April 30, 2025) and a record of actual residency in an overseas country for more than two years between April 30, 2021 and April 30, 2025 (a minimum of 9 months of residence within a calendar year is considered as a full year, verified by entry and exit stamps).

3.品行端正，身体健康，须达到办理来华学习签证或居留证件的体检标准。

Character and Health

Applicants must be of good moral character and in good physical health, meeting the medical standards required for obtaining a Chinese study visa or residence permit.

4.具有高中或高中以上学历，学习成绩优良。

Educational Background

Applicants must have a high school or above degree, with excellent academic performance.

5.年龄要求

原则上年龄在40周岁以下，截至2025年8月31日年满18周岁。2025年9月1日前不满18周岁者须提交监护人保证书。

Age requirement

Generally, applicants should be under 40 years of age, and must have reached 18 years of age by August 31, 2025. Those who will not be 18 years old by September 1, 2025, are required to provide a guardian’s consent form.

二、入学流程/ Admission Process

递交材料/ Document Submission

→ 发送电子版《录取通知书》和《外国留学人员来华确认表》（JW201/JW202表）/Online receipt of Admission Letter and Confirmation Form for Study in China (JW201/JW202 Form)

→ 到中国驻所在国使（领）馆办理X1签证/X1 Visa Application at the Chinese Embassy in the Applicant’s Home Country

→ 报到/Registration at BUCM

三、申请材料/ Application Materials

1. 必交材料/ Required Documents

(1)《北京中医药大学外国留学生本科入学申请表》（国际教育学院官网下载）；

(1) Application Form for Undergraduate International Students at BUCM (available for download from the official BUCM International Education College website);

(2)护照信息页复印件（护照必须是在递交申请之日起6个月内有效的普通护照）；

(2) Photocopy of the Passport Information Page

The passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of application submission.

(3)全日制高中及以上毕业学历文件（应届毕业生可先提供预计毕业证明），须为原件或公证件，语言为中文或英文；

(3) Full-time High School or above Graduation Diploma

Graduating students may provide an expected graduation certificate. The document must be original or a certified copy in either Chinese or English.

(4)成绩证明（至少包括以下之一），须为原件或公证件，语言为中文或英文；

(4) Academic Transcripts (original or a certified copy in either Chinese or English)

These must include at least one of the following:

- 最高学历学校提供的全部课程官方成绩单（原件或中、英文公证件）；

- Official full academic transcripts from the institution conferring the highest degree (in original form or certified in Chinese or English);

- 国家/地区统一高中毕业考试成绩单；

- Transcripts from national or regional high school graduation exams.

(5)出生证明或入籍满4年的国籍身份证明文件；

(5) Birth Certificate or Proof of Nationality with at Least 4 Years of Naturalization

(6)语言水平证明；

(6) Language Requirements

- 母语为非中文的申请者提交新HSK4级（含）以上证书；

Non-native Chinese speakers must submit a certificate for HSK Level 4 or above.

(7)面试录像（约3分钟自我简介录像资料，使用普通话）；部分学生需要网上视频面试；

(7) Interview Video

A three-minute self-introduction video is required. Some candidates may be interviewed online.

(8)报名费支付凭证或网上汇款成功的截屏；

(8) Proof of Registration Fee Payment

This can be a receipt or a screenshot confirming successful online transfer.

*报名费一经支付，恕不退回。未被录取或误报不符合申请资格的学习项目等情况，报名费均不予退还，建议申请人在支付报名费前发邮件与招生办公室咨询申请资格及其他录取要求。

Note: Once paid, the registration fee is non-refundable. The application fee will not be refunded in cases such as not being admitted or mistakenly applying for programs for which the applicant is not eligible. Applicants are advised to consult the admissions office via email regarding eligibility and other admission requirements before paying the application fee.

(9)未满18岁申请者上传材料

须提交《监护人保证书》及公证件，监护人须为居住在中国境内北京市的成年人。

A Guardian’s Letter of Guarantee and notarized documents must be submitted.The guardian must be an adult residing in Beijing, China.

(10)外国人体格检查表

(10) Physical Examination Form for Foreigners

检查结果须加盖医院公章，递交申请之日起6个月内有效的体检证明；

The examination results must bear the hospital’s official seal and remain valid for 6 months from the date of application submission.

(11)无犯罪记录证明

(11) Non-criminal Record Certificate

需前往当地警察局开具或填写北京中医药大学国际学生无犯罪记录承诺书；

This can be obtained from the local police station or by completing the BUCM International Student No Criminal Record Commitment form.

(12)经济担保证明

(12) Proof of Financial Guarantees

申请者可提供银行存款证明，金额能涵盖在华学习期间的学费和生活费；或签署北京中医药大学国际学生经济担保证明书；

银行出具的存款余额证明，金额约合人民币3万以上且存款时限在2025年10月以后。如银行账户非申请人本人，须同时提交与经济担保人的家庭关系证明。

Applicants can provide a bank certificate of deposit showing sufficient funds to cover tuition and living expenses during the study period in China, or a signed BUCM International Student Financial Guarantee Statement.

The account balance should be at least CNY 30,000 and deposited after October 2025. If the bank account is not in the applicant’s name, proof of the relationship between the financial guarantor and the applicant must be submitted concurrently.

Applicants should provide photocopies of certificates for any relevant talents or skills, such as level certificates or awards.

申请者被录取后，来校报道时须携带报名材料、健康证明（体检证明）原件以备核验；有重大疾病史或患有不确定是否可以入学的疾病，请在提交申请材料前和校方确认；如发现任何与申请材料内容不符之处，则学校有权取消申请者的入学资格。

Note on Reporting to Campus:

After admission, applicants must bring all original application and health documents (medical examination certificate) for verification upon arrival at the university. Applicants with a significant medical history or conditions that may affect their admission eligibility should consult with the school prior to submitting their application documents.If discrepancies are found between application materials and actual conditions, the university reserves the right to revoke admission.

六、可申请的奖学金/Scholarships

(1)中国政府奖学金/Chinese Government Scholarship

申请人可以查询中国国家留学基金委员会网站或留学中国官网获得最新的奖学金信息并申请。申请人也可咨询中国驻外使领馆了解相关信息。/Applicants may refer to the China Scholarship Council or Study in China official websites (http://www.campuschina.org or http://www.csc.edu.cn/laihua) for the latest scholarship information and application procedures. Applicants may also consult Chinese embassy in their home country for relevant information.

(2)北京市外国留学生奖学金/Beijing Government Scholarship

2025年2月-6月/ From February to June, 2025

申请方式/How to Apply:

符合报名资格的自费留学生可申请，经综合评定后成绩优秀的学生可获得奖学金。/Self-funded students who meet the registration qualifications can apply. Scholarships will be awarded to students with excellent performance after a comprehensive assessment.
