北京中医药大学位于中华人民共和国首都北京，创建于1956年，是新中国成立最早的高等中医药院校，是一所以中医药学为主干学科的全国重点大学，直属教育部管理，由教育部、国家卫生健康委员会、国家中医药管理局和北京市共建。目前，我校3个一级学科中医学、中西医结合、中药学均进入国家一流学科建设行列。为弘扬中医文化，培养中医药国际人才，我校面向外籍人士招收中医学、中药学、中西医结合等专业的硕士、博士研究生，欢迎报考！

Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (BUCM), located in Beijing, the capital of the People's Republic of China, was founded in 1956. It is one of the earliest higher education institutions specialized in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) established after the founding of New China. As a national key university with TCM as its core discipline, BUCM is directly under the supervision of the Ministry of Education and is jointly established by the Ministry of Education, the National Health Commission, the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Beijing Municipal Government. Currently, three of our first-level disciplines—TCM, Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine and Chinese Materia Medica have been included in the national first-class discipline construction program. To popularize  TCM culture and cultivate international TCM professionals, BUCM is now recruiting international students for master's and doctoral programs in TCM, Chinese Materia Medica and Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine. Applications are welcome!

 

一、招生类型

I. Types of Programs

 

1. 硕士研究生

1. Master’s Degree Programs

 

学制3年（学习年限一般不超过 5 年)。

The length of schooling is 3 years ( the maximum period of study is no more than 5 years).

 

2.博士研究生

Doctoral Degree Programs

 

学制4年（学习年限一般不超过 6 年）。

The length of schooling is 4 years ( the maximum period of study is no more than 6 years).

我校外国来华研究生课程为中文授课项目。

Mandarin Chinese is the language of instruction .

 

三、申请资格

III. Eligibility for Application

 

1. 遵守中国的法律、法规；

1. Abide by Chinese laws and regulations.

 

2. 热爱中医药事业，有较好的生物医学或中医药学知识基础；

2. Being Passionate about TCM and have a good foundation in biomedical or TCM knowledge.

 

3. 申请者为持外国护照的非中国籍公民，申请攻读硕士研究生需具有与中国大学本科教育水平相当的本科学历及学士学位；报考我校各临床医学院专业学位硕士研究生的考生，应具有临床医学（中医学或西医学）本科学历及学士学位；

3. Applicants should be non Chinese citizen and hold foreign passports. Those who apply for master degree program requires undergraduate education background and bachelor degree equivalent to the undergraduate education level of Chinese universities; and those who apply for professional master degree programs at our clinical medical schools must have undergraduate education background and bachelor degree in clinical medicine (TCM or Western medicine).

 

4. 申请者为持外国护照的非中国籍公民，申请攻读博士研究生需具有与中国大学硕士教育水平相当的硕士学历及硕士学位；报考我校各临床医学院专业学位博士研究生的考生，应具有临床医学（中医学或西医学）硕士学历及硕士学位；

4. Applicants should be non-Chinese citizen and hold foreign passports, Those who apply for doctoral degree program requires master education background and master’s degree equivalent to the master education level of Chinese universities; and those who apply for professional doctoral degree programs at our clinical medical schools must have master education background and master’s  degree in clinical medicine (TCM or Western medicine).

5. 应届生需提供预毕业证明(红章原件)，并在预毕业证明上标明毕业时授予学位的名称；

Fresh graduates must provide pre-graduation certificate (original copy with red seal) , which  indicates the name of the degree to be awarded upon graduation

 

6.成绩优异。

With excellent academic performance.

 

四、申请程序

IV.  Application Procedure

 

1. 登录网站（http://yanjiusheng.bucm.edu.cn），点击“招生就业”——“网上报名”，登录“北京中医药大学 2025 年外籍硕士/博士研究生申请审核制报名系统”，注册并填写申请表格。

Visit the website (http://yanjiusheng.bucm.edu.cn), click "Admissions & Employment" – "Online Application", log in to the "BUCM 2025 International Master’s/Doctoral Degree Program Application and Review System", register, and fill out the application form.

 

2. 通过审核后，需在系统提交以下申请材料（均须为原件）：

2. After passing the review, the following application materials (all must be original copies ) need to be submitted to the system:

 

（1）打印网上通过审核申请表格，本人签名并粘贴照片（近期彩色白底免冠个人照片1寸）。

(1) Print the reviewed application form, sign it, and attach a photo of the applicant (recent 1-inch bareheaded  color photo with  white background ).

 

（2）中文个人陈述，要求不少于1000字。内容应包括个人学习、工作经历，主要学术研究成果，研究生阶段的学习计划，毕业后的个人发展目标等。

(2) A personal statement in Chinese language, no less than 1000 words is required. It should include personal learning and work experience, chief academic research achievements, study plan during the master’s  degree program and personal development goals after graduation.

 

（3）两位教授或副教授的推荐信，须为中文或英文的原件（要有签名和联系方式）。

(3) Recommendation letters from two professors or associate professors must be original copies  in Chinese or English language (with signature and contact information).

 

（4）本科（申请硕士）或硕士（申请博士）期间全部课程的成绩单原件或经过公证的复印件。中、英文以外文本的成绩单还需提供公证过的中文或英文翻译件（成绩单需标注GPA ，如没有GPA ，请单独提交GPA证明）。

(4) Submit official/notarized transcripts (undergraduate for master's degree applicants; postgraduate for doctoral degree applicants). Non-Chinese/English transcripts require a notarized translation. GPA must be stated; otherwise, provide a separate GPA certification.

 

（5）经过公证的已获得最高学历毕业证书和学位证书（应届生须提供预计毕业证明）。中、英文以外文本的证书还需提供公证过的中文或英文翻译件。（注：最高学历如在海外获得，须提供教育部留学服务中心开具的学历学位认证书）

(5) Notarized copies of the highest academic degree diploma and degree certificate obtained (fresh graduates must provide a certificate of expected graduation). Certificates in languages other than Chinese or English must be translated into Chinese or English and notarized . (Note: If the official academic credentials were issued outside China, an education background and degree certification issued by the Ministry of Education Study Abroad Service Center must be provided.)

 

（6）近5年来正式公开发表的论文目录、摘要，以及论文期刊封面、目录页及首页，或其他科研成果等。

(6) A catalog and abstracts of formally published papers in the past 5 years, as well as the cover of the journal, contents page and the first page of the paper, or other research achievements.

 

（7）有效期内的普通护照（有效期应晚于2025年9月）。

(7) A valid ordinary passport (valid until at least September 2025).

 

（8）语言能力证明：至少达到《汉语水平考试》（HSK）四级水平（相关证书最迟应于2025年6月30日前交至研招办）。曾使用中文为教学语言获得中国高校学位的，无须提供《汉语水平考试》（HSK）证明。

(8) Language proficiency certificate: At least HSK Level 4 (certificates must be submitted to the Postgraduate Admission Office by June 30, 2025). Applicants who have obtained a degree from a Chinese university where Chinese was the language of instruction HSK certificate is waived.

 

（9）无犯罪记录证明。

(9) A certificate of no criminal record.

 

（10）体检报告（英文填写，申请人应严格按照《外国人体格检查表》中要求的项目进行检查。缺项、未贴有本人照片或照片上未盖骑缝章、无医师和医院签字盖章的体检表无效。来华时需携带体检表原件及全部附件）。

(10) A medical examination report (in English, applicants should strictly follow the items required in the "Medical Examination Form for Foreigners". Incomplete forms, forms without a personal photo or with a photo that is not stamped across the seal, or forms without the signature of the physician and seal of the hospital are invalid. The original medical examination form and all attachments must be brought when you come to China.)

 

✹以上申请材料请务必在申请截止日期之前将彩色清晰扫描件（PDF格式）上传至“北京中医药大学2025年外籍硕士/博士研究生申请审核制报名系统 ”，请注意！手机拍摄照片无效，不完整或不清晰的材料将影响您的申报。

✹Please be sure to upload color scanned copies (in PDF format) of the above application materials to the "BUCM 2025 International Master's/Doctoral Degree Application and Review System" before the application deadline. Note: Photo taken with a mobile phone is not acceptable, and incomplete or unclear materials will affect your application.

 

✹申请材料不全者不予受理。报名材料提交系统及缴费后，相关材料和报名费用一律不予退还。

✹Incomplete application materials will not be processed. Once the application materials are submitted to the system and the application fee is paid, the relevant materials and application fee will not be returned or refunded.

 

3. 网上缴纳报名费800元人民币。（学校不接受现场缴费，请申请人通过网上报名系统缴纳报名费)。

3. Pay the application fee of RMB 800 online. (On-site payment does not accept. Please pay the application fee to the online application system.)

 

五、申请时间

V. Time of Application

 

2025年1月23日至2025年3月30日（如需申请中国政府奖学金B类（高水平研究生项目），请务必在3月2日前在报名系统完成申请）。

From January 23, 2025 to March 30, 2025 (if applying for the Chinese Government Scholarship Type B (High-Level Postgraduate Program), must complete the application in the registration system by March 2, 2025).

七、复试时间

硕士：2025年 4 月中旬（预计时间）

Master’s Degree Candidates: Mid-April 2025 (estimated)

 

博士：2025年 5 月中旬（预计时间）

Doctorl Degree Candidates: Mid-May 2025 (estimated)

 

具体安排由各招生学院组织通知。

Specific arrangements will be notified by each admission school.

 

八、录取时间

VIII. Enrollment Time

 

学校根据考生的复试成绩确定录取名单，录取通知书于6月底前（预计时间）发出。

The university will determine the admission list based on the applicants' interview scores, and the Admission Notice will be issued by the end of June 2025 (estimated).

 

九、学费标准

IX. Tuition Fees

 

硕士： 人民币38000 /年

Master’s Candidates: CNY 38,000 /year

 

博士： 人民币47000 /年

Doctoral Degree Candidates: CNY 47,000 /year

 

注：学费缴纳金额以缴费当日中国银行外汇牌价为准。

Note: The tuition fee payment amount will be based on the exchange rate of the Bank of China on the day of payment.

 

十、签证

X. Visa

 

被录取的申请人须持录取通知书和来华学习签证申请表（JW201/202）到当地的中国使馆申请来华的学习签证。在抵达中国后30天内需要到国际教育学院将X1签证转换成学习的居留许可。

Admitted applicants must apply for a study visa to China at the local Chinese embassy with the admission notice and the Application Form for Study Visa in China (JW201/202). Within 30 days after arriving in China, it is necessary to go to the International Education School of BUCM to convert the X1 visa into a residence permit for study.

 

十一、奖学金情况

XI. Scholarship

 

1.中国政府奖学金A类（国别奖、专项奖等）

1. Chinese Government Scholarship Type A (Bilateral Program, Designated Scholarship Programs, etc.)

 

由国家留学基金管理委员会、驻外使（领）馆、有关机构受理学生申请，报送申请人信息，分配（商请）学校录取， 反馈录取信息。

The China Scholarship Council, embassies and consulates abroad, and relevant institutions will accept applications from students, submit applicant information, allocate schools for admission, and provide feedback on admission information.

 

2.中国政府奖学金B类（高水平研究生项目）

2. Chinese Government Scholarship Type B (High-level Postgraduate Program)

 

①请在2025年3月1日前到 http://www.campuschina.org 完成中国政府奖学金申请并上传申请材料（留学项目种类为“B类”，受理机构编码为 10026）；

① Please complete the application of the Chinese government scholarship and upload the application materials from http://www.campuschina.org before March 1, 2025. (The category of study abroad program is Type B, and the acceptance institution code is 10026.)

 

②同时在我校报名系统提交申请，申请时间截止至 3月2日（申请程序及材料见“四、申请程序”）。我校将对申请人的申请材料进行审核，经招生学院专家考核（笔试或面试）最终确定推荐人并通过邮件发送预录取通知书（缺少预录取通知书将无法最终完成中国政府奖学金申请）；

② At the same time, submit application to the BUCM's registration system. The application deadline is March 2nd. For application procedures and materials, see "IV. Application Procedure". We will review the application materials and the recommended individuals will be finally determined based on the expert assessment from the admission schools (written examination or interview), and a pre-admission notice will be sent via email. (Without the pre-admission notice, the application for the Chinese government scholarship cannot be finalized.)

 

③推荐人须于2025年3月26日前在中国政府奖学金来华留学管理信息系统补充个人申报申报材料，申请材料中须包含我校出具的预录取通知书；

③The recommended individuals must supplement the personal application materials to the Chinese Government Scholarship Management Information System before March 26, 2025, and the application materials must include the pre-admission notice issued by BUCM;

 

④国家留学基金管理委员会将对我校预录取候选人资格及材料进行评审，确定奖学金授予名单；

④The China Scholarship Council will review the qualifications and materials of the recommended individuals from BUCM to finally determine the list of scholarship recipients;

 

⑤我校将通过邮件告知奖学金获得者并公布奖学金获得者名单，将《录取通知书》和《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》（JW201表）邮寄奖学金获得者。

⑤BUCM will inform the scholarship recipients by e-mail and publish the list. The Admission Notice and the Foreign Student Visa Application Form (JW201 form) will be mailed to the scholarship recipients.

3. 北京市外国留学生奖学金

3. Beijing Municipal Government Scholarship

 

申请方式：符合报名资格的自费留学生可申请，经综合评定后成绩优秀的学生可获得奖学金。

Application Requirement: Self-financed international students who meet the application requirements are allowed to apply,  and those who have  excellent grades after comprehensive assessment may hold the scholarship.

 

十二、其他事宜

XII. Other matters

 

1. 申请类别一经在我校报名系统提交，不可再次修改。请申请人在提交报名材料时，务必准确填报申请类别信息（即：A类（中国政府奖学金：国别奖、专项奖）；B类（中国政府奖学金：高水平研究生项目）；自费）

1. Once the application category is submitted to the BUCM registration system, it cannot be modified . On submitting the application materials, applicants must accurately fill out the application category information. [Type A (Chinese Government Scholarship: Bilateral Program, Designated Scholarship Programs); Type B (Chinese Government Scholarship: high-level postgraduate programs); Self -financed ]

 

2.报名材料以在我校报名系统上报成功为准，不接受邮箱提交材料申请报名。

2. The registration materials are officially recognized when they get successful registration in the BUCM registration system, and the application submitted by e-mail is not accepted.
